Online Application Now Available
Important things to do before you go online to apply:
- Download and print out the CDP Production FAQ (click on the FAQ button to the left to view). Read it and keep it handy!
- Download and print out the CDP Production Guidelines (click on “Grant Guidelines” to the left).
- Prepare your proposal narrative. You will need to upload the proposal narrative with your online application.
- Download the CDP Production Budget Template (click on “Budget” to the left). Prepare your budget. You will need to upload this excel form with your online application.
- Mail your clearly labeled and tested sample work (a previously completed work AND a work-in-progress from the project for which you seek funding) to CCH’s San Francisco office by 5 pm on October 1, 2009:

- Have a letter of interest from a national distributor and/or broadcaster mailed to the SF office. All letters of interest must be received by 5 pm on October 1.
- Gather your information. The online application form requires some information that you should have on hand before you start:
- Zip+4 postal codes for the sponsoring organization, project director and humanities experts. You can find these at: http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp.
- US congressional district number, state Senate district number and state legislature district number for the sponsoring organization. Using the orgqanization’s zip+4 postal code, you can find these at http://www.vote-smart.org.
- Once, you have assembled your application materials (proposal narrative and full project budget form) and collected the required information, return here and apply.
