Tips For Preparing Your Proposal

Download and print out the CDP Production Grant FAQ (click on the FAQ button to the left to view). Keep it handy!

Prepare your proposal narrative. Please respond to the questions in the order listed, using our headings to organize your answers.

Complete the Online Grant Application Form by noon on Thursday, October 1, 2009 (available on our website on September 1, 2009). Please be prepared to electronically attach and submit the following as part of your application:

For the online application, you will be required to provide your zip+4 and congressional districts. You can obtain this information ahead of time at: http://zip4.usps.com/zip4/welcome.jsp and http://www.vote-smart.org/index.htm.

Allow at LEAST two hours to complete the electronic submission of the online application form.

Mail sample work to CCH’s San Francisco office. (It must be received by 5 pm on October 1, 2009.)

Film and radio projects only: Have a letter of interest from a national distributor or broadcaster sent to the San Francisco office. (It must be received by 5 pm on October 1, 2009.)
