Short story contests
Beginning mid September continuing to the end of October. Children will be given the opportunity to write a short story reflecting the Depression era and migrant families. An additional contest for adults will be advertised in the library and the newspaper. Entries must arrive no later than October 12.

Beginning mid September continuing to the end of October. Children will be given the opportunity to prepare artwork reflecting the Depression era and migrant families. Gayle Halachukas, young adult library assistant. An additional contest for adults will be advertised in the library and the newspaper. Entries must arrive no later than October 12. Art will be on display in the library until the end of October.
