California Stories Uncovered in the Classroom

Hundreds of students in California classrooms participated in California Stories Uncovered, interviewing and writing about their families and people in their communities – and then presenting their work to the public in special events around the state. A variety of Innovative classroom materials were especially developed for the California Stories Uncovered campaign by the California Writing Project, a statewide association of 30,000 teachers working to improve the teaching and learning of writing. The Writing Project's materials are now available for downloading.
